There has been a lot of discussion of late regarding blockchain technology. I am of the mindset that the technology itself can function as the ultimate digital audit trail. Its usefulness could become ubiquitous in the world of the Internet of Things. The obstacles though are many in number, as the overall acceptance of it as a standard platform is still years away. While blockchain hold tremendous promise, it needs a solid foundation of governance in order to deliver.
